Validations on Whole Import

  • If Assessment Import belongs to any other template version, import will be rejected. (In case wrong import or export was done before push template changes).

  • Follow these steps when trying to export responses from an assessment in one organization and import responses into another assessment located in a different organization:

    • Export the excel from Assessment A in Organization A

    • Export the excel from Assessment B in Organization B

    • If the questions in the excel match from Assessment A and B, you can copy the responses from Assessment A into the excel for Assessment B and import the responses.

  • If user has access to edit responses, then only he can do the import.

Validations by Question Types

Case Insensitive

All option based imports are.

Yes/No or Yes/No/Partially

If anything imported other than:,,(if allowed),(if allowed),(if allowed) will be rejected.

MultiChoice Question

  • Given the MultiChoice question is configured for single select, any option provided that contains a comma without an escape character will fail, as the system will treat it as two options.

  • If Notsure or NotApplicable are passed as an answer and not allowed it will fail. Only if Other is not allowed will both options pass.

  • If there is Multi Select allowed by one of the option passed in NotSure or NotApplicable with some other valid option, it will be rejected.

    For Example

    : Response = A, NotSure.

  • If Allow Other is false and we try to import any option other than the allowed one.

  • If Multi Select is not allowed and we try to pass anything with a valid value. A valid value can be "India, Europe and MiddleEast".

Inventory Question

  • If we make any change in inventory question response other than it is visible on UI/or exported in excel, then that will be considered invalid.

Data Subject Element (DSE) Question

  • Not Supported; whatever you add here will be ignored.

Control Question

  • Not Supported; whatever you add here will be ignored.

Attribute Question
